Beatrice Arthur, professionally known as Bee Arthur, is the current Leader of the Fashion Domain , Ghana Culture Forum - an non-political civic advocacy group for Creatives under the auspices of UNESCO and the Ghana National Commission on Culture.

Bee Arthur is the Team Leader/Founder of Ghana International Fashion Team (GiFt) which is a member coalition of the Global Fashioning Assembly (GFA) since 2022. GFA is an affiliate organisation of Research Centre for Decoloniality in Fashion ( RCDF).

In 2001, Bee Arthur won the KORA All Africa Fashion Award in Sun City. In 2010, International Trade Centre ( ITC) recruited Bee Arthur as a consultant on the Ethical Fashion Initiative in Ghana.

Between 2008 and 2015, Bee Arthur participated in many prestigious fashion events on the continent and in Europe: Douala,Ouagadougou, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Dakar, Malabo, Abidjan,Nairobi and Paris.

A highlight of her career was her Collection at the Dakar Fashion Week 2011 which earned her features in The Independent -UK , China Daily - PRC, Paris Match -France, Jeune Africaine - Côte d'IVoire, Madame Le Figaro - France, BRUNE Magazine - France and Yahoo news.

In 2012 Bee Arthur was recognised with a AFRICAN WOMEN OF WORTH AWARD for Excellence in Creative Fashion Design and for being an icon of inspiration for young African women.

Bee Arthur was a jury member on Malta Guiness Street Dance Competition in Ghana 2010 - 2012 and this year, she was a jury member for the World Top Model competition by Eligere di Merrebel, Italy , held in Accra.

Bee Arthur's creations are featured in "Cosmopolitanism and Women's Fashion in Ghana " by Christopher Richards 2022 ( Brooklyn University/Routledge) and "Elegance Africaines- Tissue Traditionnels et Mode Contemporaine" by Renée Mendy ( Editions Alternatives)2002.
