Ama Serwah Nerquaye-Tetteh serves currently as the head of Secretariat at the Ghana Commission for UNESCO, a government agency that plays a dual role of ensuring the visibility of UNESCO and its programmes in Ghana and the visibility of Ghana and its contributions to discussions at UNESCO. She is an experienced educational manager/consultant and communications professional with a proven track record of working to the highest standards with the best educational institutions in the United Kingdom and Ghana. She is also an examiner for international examinations bodies , Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma.

As subject coordinator at SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College and Director of Studies at Association International School, she gained substantial management experience in the creation of institutional structures and capacity building . In all these positions, she demonstrated competence in analyzing complex issues and developing sound resolutions to such in a fast paced environment.
